Hi Everyone,
This weekend was Mommy's Birthday so we had lots of fun planned. On Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Casanova and Aunt Marilyn came to visit. They also came bearing gifts for Mommy!

On Sunday morning Mommy fixed delicious pancakes for us and she made a few that looked like Mickey Mouse for Elsie. I put two drops of syrup for eyes and then made a curved line for a smiley face. When we cut the pancake up for Elsie to eat it I said in my best Mickey Mouse voice, "Ouch! My ear!" Elsie thought that was really funny so from then on each time she took a bite of Mickey she said, "Ouch!" and laughed hysterically.

After opening presents in the morning at home, Elsie and I went outside to play in the back yard. We raked up leaves, rode the tricycle, and played a few rounds of croquet. She hit the ball through two wickets all by herself. After Owen's morning nap we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Cox's house for lunch.
