As soon as Elsie got sitting up mastered, she decided she doesn't want to do it anymore. Instead, she's teaching herself how to crawl. Right now, she's REALLY close and is doing just about everything BUT crawling. She can also do push-ups!
It's only a matter of time before she crawls. She can get up on her hands and knees and is able to get from one place to another by kind of dragging herself and rolling, but I wouldn't call it "crawling" just yet. It's close though. In fact, Elsie has been trying SO hard to crawl, that her knees have gotten some carpet burn. To combat this, Mommy made some sweet knee pads out of old socks! I think Elsie and I would both agree that Mommy is pretty awesome!
