6 months!

Elsie is officially 6 months old, we can hardly believe it! She's changed so much! Here's a couple of pictures of her enjoying her new jumper. She hasn't quite figured out how to jump in it yet, but she loves making it light up and play music.

Monday she had her well baby checkup, she is now 14 pounds and 25 inches long. 20th percentile for weight and 25th percentile for height. The doctor said that she looks great and is ahead on most of her developmental milestones. Elsie and I both had a bit of a cold this week so we postponed her shots until next week.

The big news of the day is that Elsie is cutting her first tooth. I felt it for the first time yesterday, on her 6 month birthday. It's on the bottom right, the bottom left will be along shortly too, I'm sure. She's been cramming anything she can get her hands on into her mouth and is making more drool than I thought possible. She's handling the pain pretty well though, not too fussy. She has been more vocal than normal, not sure if that's associated with teething or not.

We're heading to Boonville for the 4th, looking forward to seeing everyone and celebrating the holiday!
