First Steps!

At about 5:00 this evening Owen took his first steps!  The first time it happened, he was standing at the coffee table and he was trying to get to the couch which was just out of reach.  He took two little steps and was able to snag the couch.  It happened so fast that it took me a second to realize what he had just accomplished.  The second time, Sarah stood him up facing her and slowly let go of his hands.  He stood for a few seconds then took two quick steps into her arms.  It was a beautiful moment!  He was pretty happy with himself too, as were the rest of us. 

He didn't want to walk again tonight, but I did get a picture of him standing on his own.
