Soggy

About a week and a half ago it was breakfast time and I was trying to get Elsie to leave Owen alone and go sit down in her booster chair so that she could eat her breakfast.  She was having cold cereal (a fairly new experience for us), Cheerios to be exact, and I kept warning her that if she waited too long they were going to get soggy.  From that moment, "soggy" was the newest, coolest word to use.  When it rained, the grass was soggy, the streets were soggy.  When she spent a little too much time in the bathtub, her fingers and toes were soggy.

This week she's discovered the joy of the backyard sprinkler.   Up until now, she wasn't really interested in playing in the sprinkler.  However, things have changed, she's now found out how great it can be to be soggy.

In other news...

Owen got his 3rd tooth this week, top left.  He's now sitting on his own for a minute or two at a time and is gaining strength every day.  Over the past couple of days we've also found him pushing up on his hands and knees.  I am NOT ready for him to be crawling yet, but I'm afraid it's going to be sooner than I think.
