She is always quick to tell us that "O-den's crying," or "Baby O-den's squeaky!" and she's ready with a binky or a toy when she thinks he needs it (which is pretty much all the time). The other day I told Elsie that she was "such a great big sister" to which she replied, "Thank you, Daddy." How sweet is that? :)
Starting off the day at Grandma and Grandpa Cox's house in the reindeer jammies she demanded to wear the night before.
Getting spiffed up with Grandpa
Naptime was interrupted by a call from Mommy saying that the baby was going to be coming soon. Off to the hospital!
Elsie had been saving up kisses for Owen
Elsie left the hospital with Grandma and Grandpa Casanova, who took her to our house and stayed the night with her. Then it was back to the hospital again after lunch.

Elsie looks thrilled! :)

Owen arrived with a gift for Elsie. A shiny new little people airplane! Elsie spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa Cox before meeting us at home the next day after we were discharged.

United and home at last!
As mentioned earlier, Elsie likes to keep Owen well supplied with toys.
Practicing on Truman...
We learned one lesson the hard way. With a boy you have to be on guard at every moment when they are out of their diaper. Elsie and I had just left the room and we heard Sarah scream so we went rushing in. Literally the entire bathroom was wet! Sarah's shirt, Owen's jammies, the mirror, vanity top, floor, and even the video camera had been pottied on. It was like a bomb had gone off! We've been much more careful since.

We've been trying extra hard to make sure that Elsie gets her fair share of attention too. The last couple of days we've gone to the park and the weather has been nice so we've been playing outside a lot too. Looks like she's enjoying herself...
Here are a few videos...
It's been interesting adjusting to having two kids around. One thing is evident though and that is just how lucky Sarah and I are to have have two beautiful children and wonderful parents.
See ya,
Ryan, Sarah, Elsie, and Owen
You need a wee blocker, we got one for Ayrton and it was very useful!
