Hi Everyone!
Elsie has been getting into the Christmas spirit this week. She's been baking Christmas cookies, listening to Christmas songs and calling out "Santa!" wherever she sees him. We got Grandma Nancy's card in the mail the other day and what do you know? It plays Elsie's favorite Christmas song!
On Friday, Grandma and Grandpa Cox came over to help Mommy and Elsie bake sugar cookies. I was at work, but lucky for me they took lots of pictures.
Like her Mommy, Elsie isn't afraid to make a little bit of a mess when she's baking. :)
Let's do this!
We let Elsie do her very own cookie and it turned out great. She got to enjoy the fruits of her labor by having it for dessert. For those wondering, this cookie is a chick. We used both traditional Christmas shapes and farm animal shapes this year. :)

On Saturday Elsie helped put icing and sprinkles on the cookies.
