1) Elsie's been talking up a storm, here are the words she's saying: mommy, daddy, hi, bye-bye, ixie (Trixie), ball, dog, uh-oh, all done, and I'm sure a bunch more that we don't understand quite yet
2) She loves hummus, gets so excited as soon as she sees it
3) She can climb up into any chair or onto most couches/coffee tables unassisted
4) When playing outside, Elsie carries the watering can over to the hose and puts the nozzle into the watering can like she's filling it up.
5) She knows the melody to the ABC's song and sings parts of it regularly. No specific letters, just sounds.
6) She likes to help feed Trixie, will get her food out of the pantry and carry it to the laundry room where Trixie's bowl is. Will also try to help scoop food on the bowl. Sometimes it makes it, sometimes it ends up on the floor or in Trixie's water dish.
7) Her favorite book is The Giving Tree. Every time I ask her to pick out a story to read, that's what she picks first. Every time.
8) She can follow simple directions like - Can you help pick up toys? Can you go find your shoes/sock/ball/binky/blanket? Do you want to go upstairs and take a nap?
9) She doesn't like potatoes - mashed, roasted, baked, or otherwise. French fries are a rare treat though.
10) She's started giving kisses on the face. Wet, mouth open wide kisses on your cheek, chin, nose, or mouth.
