Elsie helps out in other ways too. Like when you are playing in the yard and you need someone to pick up a stick and hand it to you, she's there. And if you need someone to hand you a partially chewed up piece of food, you know who you can count on.
The best part is that no matter what she hands you, she gives you this look that says, "here you go, I know this is what you were looking for." She doesn't just help out Sarah and I either. Earlier today, she picked up a cat toy and approached Trixie with her toy squirrel. Trixie didn't think it was as cute as we did. :)
Here are some pics from the last few weeks. This one is from our trip to Grandma and Grandpa Casanova's house a few weeks ago. Just kickin' back with her feet up.
As I've said before, she is ALWAYS after the cat!
Helping Mommy cook...
Oh no you didn't!
Yes I did!
I took off work part of last week and the weather couldn't have been nicer. It was 60 and sunny on Thursday and Friday, and I got to work outside all day constructing a new flower bed wall with limestone hauled up from Grandma and Grandpa Casanova's house. It was an absolutely beautiful day and I even got a little sunburned! It was nice to get outside and do some hard work on something you enjoy.
The weather went from this...
...to this in the span of one day.
We got about 10" of snow over the course of Friday night and Saturday so we decided to go sledding for one last time this season.
Too bad the Tigers lost today, but it was a good season nevertheless. At least we won't be forced to watch KU roll through the rest of the tournament!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Ryan, Sarah, and Elsie
