Elsie got to have a warm up Easter Egg Hunt this weekend courtesy of Garmin, who each year has an Easter Egg Hunt for the children of employees. This year they had roughly 8000 eggs that were spread all over the 1st floor of the parking garage because it had rained the night before. There were hundreds of kids there and thankfully for us, they let the little ones go a few seconds before the bigger kids were unleashed. When the horn was blown we took off and with a little assistance from Mom and Dad, Elsie was able to haul in a good number of eggs before we were overtaken by the tidal wave of kids. It only lasted a few minutes but it was fun and was a good practice run for the real Easter Egg Hunt(s) next weekend.

Last week Elsie started using a new tactic to get close to Trixie. Instead of trying to chase down the cat, she's learned to sit back and wait until Trixie gets into her bed in front of the window. After a few minutes Trixie gets relaxed and doesn't want to go anywhere...and that is precisely when Elsie attacks!
Trixie, are we having fun yet?
How about now?
Attack of the ballerina! You can by Trixie's face that she is LOVING it!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Ryan, Sarah, and Elsie
