Last week we tried rice cereal for the first time. Her pedi recommended that we try it around 4 months which she will be later this week. She hasn't quite figured out how to eat when fed with a spoon yet so I think we got more on the bib than in the tummy, but it was fun to try something new. She seemed to like the taste of it okay. We won't introduce any other solids until 6 months, until then I'm going to be reading up on how to make baby food. I can't wait!
This week we also let Elsie start using the Exersaucer that I got her. It has lots of toys on it, spins around, and bounces up and down when she pushes with her legs. She REALLY likes it. It's still a little big for her, but she loves to sit in it and play with the toys and spin around in the little seat. She hasn't really figured out how to bounce up and down in it yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
She's smiling all the time now and starting to vocalize her laughter a bit too. She giggled outloud at Ryan the other day, precious.
Yesterday I ordered a new jogging stroller to start using for our walks. I was carrying her in the front pack carrier, but with the weather getting warmer, we won't be able to do that for much longer, she gets too warm. I can't wait for it to arrive so we can go for some long walks together.

Ryan and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on Friday. Saturday evening we had dinner at the Marina Grog and Galley at Lake Lotawana, the same place we had our rehearsal dinner the night before we got married. The food was amazing, we had a wonderful time. Elsie spent the evening keeping grandma and grandpa Cox company, they were happy to see each other and always have a nice time together.
That's about all for now. Hope everyone had a good weekend, take care.
Sarah
