This year it snowed on Chistmas Eve so we were guaranteed a white Christmas! The kids were so excited about the big day. They got up around 6AM and checked their stockings and made it until about 6:30 before they woke us up to let us know that Santa had come.

| Looks like we were good this year! |
| Alex, of course, was totally in his element. He perched himself up on top of Mr. Jazzy Pants where he could see the festivities of the day unfold. |
| You can see it's still dark outside. :) |
Christmas was great! The kids had so much fun and we got to spend the whole day together.
On Thursday, we traveled to Boonville for Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Cas. We were supposed go down on the 26th, but Grandma and Grandpa were both sick. They were feeling better, but unfortunately both Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Donnie were sick now so they wouldn't be there.
| The kids wrote a very nice note asking Alex to come to Boonville with us. He stuffed himself into a jar and even poked holes in the lid so he could breath easy. This was great because we could pick up the jar without touching him. |

| What could this gigantic gift be? |
| Elsie has been redecorating her room, so she got some neat furniture. |
| ...like this standing mirror |
| Owen got a cool Battle Bots game. It was pretty fun. Almost like the real thing! |
| Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Cas was really nice. We played games and had lots of fun. And when it was time to go home, the kids made sure that Alex was buckled in nice and safe. :) |
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Ryan, Sarah, Elsie and Owen
