Hi Everyone!
We had a really great 4th of July weekend. Got to spend Sunday night with our friends Alan and Emily at her family farm. We used about 2/3 of our fireworks there and stayed up really late! Owen said it was the best night ever because we got to light off fireworks AND there was a train track close by so he got to watch 5 or 6 trains go by too. :) Also, it was nice and cool, which makes everything better this time of year! The next day, which was the 4th, we lit off the rest of our fireworks after dinner.

Owen's preschool teacher was on vacation all week, so he got to spend the week in Boonville with Grandma and Grandpa Cas and Aunt Marilyn. We met in Odessa on Tuesday morning and then Elsie and I drove down the following Saturday to join him.

Elsie and I drove down on Saturday morning. We had big plans of going to the Boonville Aquatic Center to swim, riding bikes on the Katy Trail, and meeting up with some old buddies.

| Elsie and Owen both learned to drive the golf cart on their own. It's taken a few years but now they are both big enough...barely. |

| Grandpa Cas, Owen, and I went for a big bike ride on Sunday morning. We rode all the way down to the river and out on the bridge. Pretty big accomplishment for Owen. 4 miles is a long way for his little legs. |
When we were in San Diego a few weeks ago, Millie got to visit Boonville too. Here are a few pics...
