Elsie's 6th Birthday!

This year we were lucky enough to be off work on Elsie's Birthday so we got to spend the whole day with her and Owen.  It started off with breakfast at First Watch and a giant chocolate chip pancake (her favorite).  Then we came home and opened presents!  We played the rest of the day and then had tacos for dinner (another of Elsie's favorites).  All in all it was a really nice day.

Elsie loves her scotch tape!

I like Owen in this picture.

Elsie got a nerf "revelle."  It's a six-shooter crossbow that fires nerf bullets.  Cool!

To cap off the night we had giant cupcakes from Sugar Rush.  Yummy as always!
On Saturday we had a few of Elsie's friends over for her birthday party.  In addition to that, both sets of Grandma's and Grandpa's, Great Aunt Marilyn, Aunt Becky, and our next door neighbors were here as well.
Introductions

One of the activities we had planned was a dress-up game.  Each kid had to put on 5 different things and then do jumping jacks or some other silly thing.

Owen went right for the pink scarf.  That's my boy!

The next activity was a pinata!  Kids love pinatas!

Activity #3 was a "build your own pillow" clinic.  Each guest got to pick out some fabric that Sarah put together ahead of time and make "no sew" pillows that they got to keep.

Even Owen got one, but his was a little more manly. :)

Grandma Cas and Aunt Marilyn kept a close eye on Millie during the party.

Present time!

Time for cupcakes!

Huff!

...and puff!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELSIE!!!
