Grandmas House and Worlds of Fun

On Friday afternoon we headed down to Boonville to visit Grandma and Grandpa Casanova.  We hadn't been down since Easter so it was overdue.  Grandma had a dirt pile in her back yard to help fill in some spots in her yard, and if you know anything about our kids (or any kids in general) they LOVE themselves a dirt pile!  We played outside most of Friday afternoon and evening, then hit the park on Saturday morning. After lunch we headed back to KC because we had some very fun plans coming up on Sunday...
Dirt = FUN

Trip to Harley Park not complete without obligatory pic of Lookout Point. :)

Sunday was Garmin Day at Worlds of Fun.  Garmin reserves the whole park for families to come out and have some fun.  I can't believe they do this, and can't imagine what it might cost, but it's truly awesome.  The entire park is full of coworkers, teammates, and friends.  It's not crowded and the lines are SO much better than an ordinary weekend.  Most of the time there is no wait at all - just the way we like it.  :)  We got there right as they opened and hit up Planet Snoopy first before going out into the rest of the park.  There were a few rides that Elsie could do that Owen couldn't, but for the most part we all got to ride the same things.  We all had a really fun time and it was a great way to spend a day together.
Only kids on the ride!

Driving the 4x4 trucks was one of Owen's favorite rides.

Train ride with the family!

Sarah asked Owen what his horse's name was and he said, "Grandma Cas."  That has to be one of the funniest things  ever!  :)

This was Elsie's favorite ride.  Owen was too short to go, so we took pictures of Elsie and Mommy.

Splash!!!

It was a beautiful warm day and I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather spend it with.

See ya,
Ryan, Sarah, Elsie, and Owen
