Easter

Hope everyone out there had a Happy Easter!  Ours was great.  It started off with a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Casanova's house on Friday, then we came back home on Saturday afternoon.  On Sunday we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Cox's house for lunch.

Spaghetti Boy!

Grandma and Grandpa Cas got a swingset!

Perfect weather for a picnic

Time for the Easter Egg hunt!

Elsie and I camped out on Friday night.  It was her first time sleeping in a tent and it got pretty chilly (because our tent is a summer tent so the wind just swirls through it) but we got through it and both had a really fun time.  Elsie had been really excited about the idea of camping out, so we thought we'd do a test run in Grandma's pasture before trying anything more primitive.

Sunday started off with Elsie and Sarah going to church while Owen and I washed my truck.  Then we all got ready and headed over to the Cox's house for lunch with friends and family.  By the time the Easter Egg hunt rolled around Owen had a pretty good idea of what was expected of him and he cleaned up.

Owen got a bubble gun (which Elsie played with for him) and Elsie got her own little princess pink fishing rod as Easter gifts.  Both have already been loads of fun.

As an added bonus to the weekend, on Monday, Owen, Elsie, Sarah, and Grandma and Grandpa Cox took a trip to the Deanna Rose Farmstead.  As usual, it was a lot of fun!  Elsie even got to ride a pony.

Happy Easter!
Owen, Elsie, Sarah, and Ryan
