Later that evening Mommy and Daddy went down to the reunion so Grandma and Grandpa Casanova got to babysit. They had heard a rumor that Elsie likes playing in water so of course they obliged. No idea what's up with the hair...
The reunion was a lot of fun and it was great to see my old buddies and hear how everyone was doing.
This weekend was the 4th of July. We started off the day by going to the park.
Elsie decided that she wanted to explore the tennis court.

Later that evening, we went out to a father of one of our friends farms to celebrate the 4th of July proper by lighting off fireworks and shooting guns! We had a really nice time and got to enjoy some good burgers and dogs while we waited for it to get dark. It started raining right around dark, but we lit off what we could for a little while, but eventually the rain got too bad and it was getting late so we headed home. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures, but we had a good time. Elsie wasn't as big of a fan of fireworks as she was last year, but as long as Mommy was close she did fine.

We had Monday off of work so we had Grandma and Grandpa Cox over for dinner tonight. Elsie was excited and greeted them with lots of squeals and giggles. Then it was time for Elsie to show off some new moves!
