A Visit With Santa

Saturday was a great one! During the afternoon, we had a special date with Santa and his wife Mrs. Claus! Elsie must want to be on the "nice" list for her first Christmas, she was all smiles for them. (Mom and dad were a bit surprised!)


Saturday morning, a friend from work stopped by because we'd asked her if she'd take a few family pictures for us while our house was decorated for Christmas. We got a few in front of the mantle and in front of the tree, we even got Elsie to smile at the right times.

Friday evening Elsie and I were listening to music online and one of my favorite songs must have struck a chord with her. She started dancing, and dancing, and dancing, though pretty much the entire song. Since then, we've turned on that same song and some others and it looks like she's got more moves and rhythm than her parents. Here's a video of her shakin' her groove thing. I've played the video about 20 times since then and every time she runs over to the computer to watch it and dances along. Silly girl, so much cuteness.
