Blueberries!

It's been a pretty lazy weekend for us. Yesterday afternoon we went down the block to a neighbor's surprise birthday party. Today we are taking it easy around the house - catching up on odds and ends that we've been neglecting. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

This morning Elsie had blueberries for the first time. I cooked them down then made a puree and mixed them in with her oatmeal, she loved it! Contrary to how it looks, I to believe that some of it actually made it into her tummy. And check out those two bottom teeth!





Now that Elsie is mobile we've babyproofed our home, at least somewhat. Locks on all the cabinets, securing the TV to the wall, etc. Ryan added these padded corners to our coffee table and Elsie was immediately drawn to them. Apparently they are tasty!?! So tasty in fact that there was drool running off of the coffee table onto the carpet. Yummy.

Elsie has also been pulling up on everything; she is also able to stand unassisted for 2-3 seconds now. I'm afraid she's going to skip walking and go straight to running. A couple of weeks ago we had to lower her crib down to the lowest setting because she was gearing up to escape.
