Today was a fantastic day! We slept in this morning then got up and around to run some errands. We decided that because today was SO BEAUTIFUL it would be a good one to do some work in the yard. We made some coffee and headed off to Lowes to get a couple of truckloads of dirt to put around the tree in front and to fill in some low spots in the yard. Ryan took care of most of that while I spent time cleaning out my flower beds. (Something I've neglected since last fall when I gave up pulling weeds because bending over when you're 8 months pregnant is just way too much trouble!) So, while we worked in the yard, Elsie sat on the "porch swing" and enjoyed the afternoon sunshine. All of our neighbors couldn't resist stopping by to say hello to Elsie.

After the yard work was finished, it was showers for everyone then we got decked out in our MIZZOU gear for the big game. Much to our surprise (because MU always finds a way to screw up a good opportunity) they actually won the Big 12 Tournament! Here's a family picture taken after the game.
