First Trip To Grandma Casanova's House

Saturday we went to Boonville, MO which is where Elsie's Grandma and Grandpa Casanova live. It was Elsie's first overnight trip, so naturally she was excited about it.

Elsie had her "Molly Snurdle" overnight bag packed she was ready to get on the road!

After lunch we went to see a couple of my friends' parents, and then when we got home there was a whole crowd of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends of the family that wanted to see Elsie.

The next morning, accompanied by Grandma, Maddie, and her parents, Elsie got to take her first walk on the Katy Trail. The weather was nice but really windy.

Mommy carried her the first 1.5mi, and Daddy got to carry her the last 1.5mi.

After our walk we ate lunch and headed back to KC. It was nice to get out of the city for weekend and Elsie did great!
