Merry Christmas!
Once again, Christmas has come and gone. It was fun as always. It started out with cookie baking and gingerbread houses to get everyone in the holiday mood.
| I forgot that Owen even had this little chefs hat and apron, but it sure is cute! |
| The kids normally go over to Grandma and Grandpa Cox's house each year to make these. They've gotten more complicated every year. This is Elsie's house. It is a surf shack complete with surfer and sea turtles! |
| Owen made a fishing pond for Santa and a neat little fire pit. |
| Alex was VERY excited about Christmas! |
| Our first Christmas was the Cox family Christmas. Elsie was in charge of entertainment. :) |
| A "fort" of presents! |
| We had a great afternoon hanging out with family, having lunch, and of course opening presents. |
| Christmas Eve at our house! |
| The kids took turns reading "The Night Before Christmas." It used to be us reading to them and now they read it for us. They're getting SO big. |
| Looks like we were good this year! |
| Alex perched himself way up high so he wouldn't miss any of the action. |
| Millie got a new bed. If a dog could smile she would have been. |
| When we were in Hawaii, Elsie showed interest in the ukulele. Now she's got one! |
| Sad news. This toy lasted 3 days. It was fun while it lasted! |
| Owen's big gift...an electric scooter! |
| It was over 60 degrees so the kids played outside in the afternoon. |
| Elsie has been practicing ukulele a lot. She's already learned a couple of songs! |
| On the 26th we headed down to Boonville for Christmas at Grandma Casanova's house. Once again, it was great to spend time with family, eat good food, and open presents. (Once Millie gets a present that is hers, she thinks they all are) :) |
| This was a very neat gift from Grandma Cas. They each got a box of pictures of them and Grandpa Cas. It was bittersweet and it didn't seem right for him to not be there, but we persevered and managed to have fun for the few days we were in town. |
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Ryan, Sarah, Elsie, and Owen
