It's Fall!

Cooler temps mean we can actually do things outside now!  On Saturday we went to the Louisburg Cider Mill.  We had pancakes and cider for breakfast and to ring in Fall, we brought home delicious apple donuts, apples for making applesauce, kettle corn, and root beer.

Sunday we went to New Century Airport to see the Commemorative Air Force planes.  A few years ago we took Elsie (Owen was just a baby then) and we got to see a gigantic B-29 named "Fifi".  This time Fifi was there again and both kids got to see her.  So did Grandma and Grandpa Cox, who met us there.

There's "Fifi" in the background

General Douglas MacArthur was on hand as well.  :)

Fifi was warming up her engines before takeoff.  It was pretty loud!

There she goes!

Last weekend I went on a float trip with the guys, and as is tradition, I took Owen to stay with Grandma and Grandpa in Boonville.  They had a great time.  Owen hadn't been back since he got his cast off.  He couldn't wait to play in the sandbox!

Here's to a couple of great weekends and beautiful weather!
