Thanksgiving and Swim Lessons

We celebrated Thanksgiving this year in Boonville with Grandma and Grandpa Casanova.  It was pretty chilly so we stayed inside most of the time, but we did manage to get outside a few times to play.  The kids had lots of fun playing with Grandma Cas and Aunt Marilyn and we had a nice time seeing everyone.

On Friday we got home just in time to hang our outside Christmas lights before it got dark.  On Saturday we enjoyed Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Cox's house.  We had a nice time visiting with everyone and feasted on some good BBQ, which was a welcome change after having eaten so much turkey over the last few days.

Elsie made this "sign" for us and hung it on the wall at Grandma Casanova's house.

Thursday morning we went for a walk on the Katy Trail

After lunch we figured out that we could make a fort in the kids room.

It kept the kids busy for awhile.

Not sure if you can tell or not, but Owen LOVES olives.

By the end of dinner things were getting seriously out of hand.  :)

On Friday morning we got to spend a little time with our friends Aaron, Amber, and Ayrton.  Owen and Ayrton (and Aaron) had fun playing with my old Hotwheels

A couple of weeks ago, Elsie finished swim lessons.  Parents weren't allowed until the last class of the year (because the kids tend to freak out if their parents are there) so this was the one chance we had to get pictures.  She did wonderful!  You can tell that real swimming on her own is not too far away.

Done!  WAY TO GO ELSIE!!!
