New House!

Sorry we haven't posted anything for awhile but we've been busy...moving in to our new house!  The construction seemed to drag on forever and we came within two days of our interest rate lock expiring, but we made it.  We closed on August 27th.  It was truly amazing to see everything come together during the last couple weeks of construction.

Our builder was nice enough to let us start moving our stuff in last weekend, so by the time we closed we had pretty much everything moved over to the house.  We took the week off work to upack and get settled.  As you can see, we still need sod, but are expecting it this week.  It is really weird living in the middle of a construction zone because during the day it is almost like you are in the way, but at night it gets really quiet.  Right now we are the only ones living on our cul de sac, but our next door neighbors are slated to move in at the end of Sept.  They have two girls and the youngest one is close to Elsie's age so that will be nice.

Landscaping, but no grass

Our house is on the right.  There are 4 houses going up on the left side of the street.
We can't thank Grandpa and Grandma Cox enough for their hospitality and letting us live with them all summer.  We are very excited though to be done moving and in our "forever home."

See ya,
Ryan, Sarah, Elsie, and Owen

  1. Yes, Bob and Mary were certainly most gracious in letting the four of you stay the summer with them. Bet it's quiet at their house now! :)
