Seasons Greetings!
Hope everyone out there had a very merry Christmas. We sure have been enjoying our time off. It all started last week when Elsie went down to visit Grandma Casanova in Boonville. I took her down on Wednesday night and it was supposed to snow on Thursday...and snow it did! Elsie had a great time sledding, playing in the snow, and helping Grandma finish up her Christmas shopping. Owen, Sarah, and I joined everyone on Sunday for our "Boonville Christmas" before coming back on Christmas Eve in time to set out milk and cookies for Santa.

| Crash! |
Elsie wasn't the only one who got to play in the snow - Owen did too! He barely even got to see snow last year so he was a little unsure of himself while walking in it, but he liked riding on the sled.
Christmas in Boonville started off with opening stockings and then it was on to presents!
When we got home on Christmas Eve, it was time to make some reindeer food and get ready for a visit from Santa!
| Tracking Santa. He was still in Africa (as you can see) so we still had plenty of time to get everything ready. |
| Sprinkling reindeer food in the driveway |
| Elsie and Mommy put together a nice note for Santa. |
| Christmas morning after a visit from Santa. IT'S ON! |
| "Any other presents under there, Elsie?" |
| Stompees! These and the dream light were the two things Elsie wanted most. |
| Elsie got a Nabi...her very first real computer. |
| Owen got lots of hot wheels and Thomas the Train accessories. He got so excited that he was jumping around, clapping his hands, and squealing. It was SOOOO cute! |
| Owen also got LOTS of dinosaurs. So many that we had to set up a Jurassic Park within the railroad. |
On Wednesday we celebrated Christmas at the Cox's house with Grandma and Grandpa Cox, Aunt Becky, Uncle Vince, and cousin Jaden. We had a really nice time, and Elsie and Owen got to open even more presents!
Christmas was great. It was so nice getting to spend time with our families. The kids loved it too...if you couldn't tell. :)
Merry Christmas to all!
Ryan, Sarah, Elsie, and Owen
