Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa!

Elsie got to spend this weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Casanova in Boonville! I was going on a float trip with friends and Sarah stayed home for a much needed weekend off. On Friday morning Elsie and I headed out for Grandma's. She was a doll in the car and had lots of smiles and nice things to tell Grandma about when we arrived. First order of business? A wagon ride!

...followed by a horse ride!

Later that evening, Grandma took Elsie over to friend Carol's house for a swim. Elsie loved it!

On Saturday, Elsie got to go to Gretchen and J.D.'s farm. There were sheep and a sheepdog, but they didn't get very close.

Then Grandma and Grandpa took Elsie swimming at Gretchen and J.D.'s house. Would you believe that Elsie loved it?

Then it was time for a milk shake and her favorite cartoon. Yeah!

On Sunday, Elsie got to go swimming at Aunt Marilyn's. Guess what? She loved it!

According to her Grandma and Grandpa, Elsie was a doll this weekend. She slept really well and had LOTS of fun. And aside from having nonstop energy she wasn't too hard on her Grandparents. Sarah and I also had a nice weekend. We both got to do something we haven't gotten to do for awhile so it was good all around.
