Easter

Hope that everyone had a fantastic Easter holiday, we sure did! We started off on Friday by coloring some eggs. Elsie's keeping an eye on them to make sure they are just right.

Saturday morning, Grandma and Grandpa Cox came over for brunch and we had a pre-Easter egg hunt. Elsie was pretty good at hunting eggs, even picked up some rocks, sticks, and mulch too. She's very thorough.

Posing for the camera, sitting still for just a second.

Look what I found in with the flowers!

Getting some help from grandpa - so many eggs for one little girl!

On Saturday afternoon we headed to Boonville to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Casanova, Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Donnie. We spent a lot of time outside on Saturday afternoon; Elsie loves to play outside (and collect sticks, as seen below)
Now what to do with all those sticks you worked so hard to collect? Use to splash with!

Elsie splashed about half of the water out of the bird's water dish before she decided to just dive in with both hands. She was soaked past her elbows and her coat needed to spend some time in the dryer. She had fun though.

Sunday we had another Easter egg hunt and had a yummy lunch. The Easter bunny hid 43 eggs at Grandma and Grandpa Casanova's house! He must be a friend of theirs or something cause Elsie got all kinds of goodies.

Hope everyone has a great week... until next time.
Ryan, Sarah, and Elsie
PS - Elsie had her 15 month appointment last week. The doctor said she looks great and was pleased with her physical and developmental growth. She now weighs a wopping 18 pounds and 5 ounces (3rd percentile) and is 30 inches tall (45th percentile).
