Because of the fever we kept her home from daycare all week, which meant that Mommy and Daddy got to split half-days to stay home with her. Sarah took the morning shifts and I would come home at lunch to stay with her in the afternoons. Tuesday and Wednesday she didn't have very much energy so she just laid around. Thursday she was much more energetic, and by Friday she was her normal self again. Unfortnuately, I started feeling sick on Thursday and ended up staying home from work on Friday with a nasty cold that has lasted all through the weekend. Sarah has had the sniffles for awhile too. Pretty exhausting trying to nurse a sick child back to health when both of you are sick too!
Hanging out in jammies all week...

Elsie learned how to climb up on the foam covered bricks in front of our fireplace. She was excited about the soft landing!
On Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Casanova and Auntie Marylin came up to visit. They brought some much welcomed homeade chicken noodle and vegetable soup to help sooth our colds.
Elsie was quite the showoff!
Thank you for such a nice day Saturday. We all had fun, but I was sorry Ryan and Sarah did not feel the best. I hope all are on the mend. Elsie was just as cute as ever being a remarkable little girl.
